How to get from Sidi Kaouki to Marrakesh by bus
We run a direct bus from Sidi Kaouki to Marrakesh or Marrakesh airport for just €18 per person. Departure is every day at 14:00 pm. The journey takes around 3 hours to the Medina (city centre) or 3.5 hours to the airport. You can book your tickets here.
If the timing of our direct transfers doesn't work for you, you can also make this journey by taxi and bus from Essaouira. This is how to make the journey:
1: Take a taxi to the Supratours bus terminal in Essaouira (located here). The taxi fare should be 100 dirhams (€10), and definitely don't pay more than 150!
2: Book a Supratours bus from Essaouira to Marrakesh. This trip takes 3 hours and costs €13 per person (book tickets here). You should aim to arrive at the bus terminal 15 minutes before departure. If you have large bags that need to go under the bus, you will also need to buy luggage passes (~€1 per bag)
3: From the Supratours bus terminal in Marrakesh (located here), it is a 10-minute taxi to the Medina - do not pay more than 100 dirhams, and it should really be less (use your haggling skills!). If you are staying in the Medina, you will usually have to walk the final few hundred meters to your hotel, as most accommodation is not accessible by car.
