SOUK TO SURF

It is possible to take our buses on a day trip to Imsouane from Taghazout, Tamraght, Essaouira, Anza, or Agadir.  To do the day trip, just book our morning bus to Imsouane and our afternoon bus back

 

Arrival time in Imsouane from Essaouira is 11:15 am, and departure time is 5:50 pm 

 

Arrival time in Imsouane from Taghazout, Tamraght, Anza, or Agadir is around 11:25 am and departure again at 4:30 pm

 

So you will have plenty of time to explore the town, go surfing, skate, hike, and have lunch!

 

In recent years, Imsouane has burst on the Moroccan surf scene, boasting one of the longest right-handers in Africa.  The waves that peel around the bay of Imsouane are perfect for longboards (which you can hire in the town for €10), but shortboarders will also have a great time on the steeper sections.  If you are on a shortboard, you should also check out Cathedral Break, a five-minute walk from Magic Bay.

 

If you don't fancy surfing, there is still plenty to do.  You can walk along the beach, hike up to the clifftop viewing point, sunbathe, try out a surf skate, or just enjoy the laidback pace of life and chilled vibe of Imsouane. The town is a Berber fishing village, so many restaurants will BBQ the fish that arrive in the market the same morning.  All washed down with the staple Moroccan mint tea - come check it out!
