TAGHAZOUT AND TAMRAGHT
The sleepy fishing villages of Taghazout, Tamraght have been drawing surfers and backpackers for years. More recently Imsouane has also emerged on the scene boasting the longest right hander in Africa and possible the world! These chilled beachfront villages are about as far from the madness of Marrakesh as it is possible to get get! All three have an irresistible charm and most visitors end up staying much longer than planned. Take a yoga class, sunbathe on the beach, drink a smoothie, surf anchor point, cliff jump into freshwater pools in paradise valley, sip a mint tea from a roof top and watch the sunset and generally enjoy the simple, laidback lifestyle

There are many amazing surf and kiteboard spots along the coast of Morocco and the best way to experience them is by staying at one of Morocco's famous surf retreats. Meet fellow surfers, brush up on your skills with some lessons, or hire a guide to take you to their favourite off-the-beaten-path spots. There are many different surf camps on offer in Taghazout and Tamraght some of the most famous ones include: Adventure Keys, Surf Maroc and Surf Berbere.
Looking for some non-surfing activities? Why not go for a guided hike with Tayyuu hiking who will take you on a beautiful journey to some of the lesser known trails in the Taghazout area. If you need to destress then you can take a yoga class with one of the many teachers in the village. Or, if you are looking to brush up on your board skills on a landbased why not head up to the clifftop skatepark.
